About

Hi, I'm Lihi. I began my creative journey studying photography, earning my BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Later, I expanded into interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. After years of working in the design world, I discovered ceramics—and fell completely in love.

Clay offered something deeply grounding and immediate. It brought together everything I value: form, texture, function, and expression. My work is now a reflection of that path—rooted in design, shaped by hand, and made to bring warmth, beauty, and presence into everyday life.

I’m also a mother of four, and I balance family life with time in my studio in Israel, called Ya Albi—Arabic for “my heart.” The name is a tribute to my beloved grandmother, who spoke fluent Arabic and often called me by that name. The love she gave me is the same love I now pour into my ceramic work.

Each piece I create is one of a kind, shaped with intention and care. Nothing is repeated—every work carries its own story, and I treasure the process of making something new every time.
